South Korea successfully developed the fourth generation mobile telecommunications system (4G)-based Long Term Evolution (LTE)-Advanced, which claimed first in the world.

Super speed is claimed. South Korea’s Ministry of Economy stated that the state-owned institutions, Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), has successfully tested LTE-Advanced systems outside of laboratory conditions. The result was promising. With this system, users can download data at speeds up to 600 Mbps! Parties ETRI successfully download a 700MB movie file size in just 9.3 seconds. Amazing indeed. In a trial that has been done in the State Ginseng, this technology is also used for 3D streaming on television in a car that is running about 40 miles per hour. The result is going well. The technology is still in early stages of development. Hopefully, LTE Advanced is able to be applied en masse in South Korea around 2014.
